Little Emry is 4 months old today! In some ways, this is the
start of lots of new things. She is smiling much more and laughing at different
things. She tries to roll over and has successfully done so from her tummy to
her back, but she didn’t know it. She likes to “fake cough” and yesterday
learned to take a deep breath and let it all out in a big sigh which makes her
squeak in her “Munchkin voice” (as Ed calls it). She still loves the “ABC song”
and seems to like words. She spends quite a bit of time looking at the Warning
label in her bathtub, the serial number on the toilet (which she can see when
I’m taking off her clothes for her bath) and the tag on her stuffed bear
“Quantico”. Maybe if I keep reading to her, she’ll learn to read by the time
she’s one! (Okay, okay…two!) Her newest
thing, though? Just this morning, we learned to play “Peek-a-boo!”
Yea! Four Months!
Showing Sock Monkey her feet.
Papa did our hair…
